The streets of Hoboken are already feeling a bit safer — we just got word that Law & Order SVU is filming in Hoboken. Several eyewitness reports have confirmed the location to be the former Walgreens on Washington Street.
While Olivia Benson (aka Mariska Hargitay) has yet to be spotted on Washington, filming for SVU certainly has. The show is in its 26th season of filming. Most filming takes place in New York City, but Hoboken has taken the main stage for at least a short while.
Hoboken is no stranger to filming, as over the last few years New Jersey as a whole has seen a major uptick in both movies and TV shows. You can view the full list here.

Tunes Hoboken Hosting Teddy Swims for Signing Event on Sunday 1/26
On Sunday, January 26th, singer Teddy Swims will be at Tunes Hoboken, located at 225 Washington Street, for a signing event. The Grammy-nominated performer will sign copies of his newest album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2), which debuted on Friday, January 24th. Teddy Swims is a singer-songwriter best known for his song Lose Control. His debut album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1) was released in 2023. Lose Control made the Billboard Top 100 chart in June 2023. In December 2023, he duetted the song on the Kelly Clarkson Show with host and singer Kelly Clarkson, bringing nationwide attention to his gritty vocals. It reached Number 1 in March 2024.

Teddy Swims has also collaborated with many A-list singers and performers including Thomas Rhett (country), Megan Trainor (pop) and Giveon (R+B). He has toured throughout the US and internationally and performed with groups including Greta Van Fleet.

On Sunday, January 26th, Teddy Swims is celebrating the release of his second album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2) in Hoboken. From 2PM - 5PM, he'll be at Tunes Hoboken (the town's only record store) signing copies for fans.
