A one-of-a-kind event focusing on inclusive clothing items is happening in Chilltown next week. Hosted by two Jersey City locals, “Style Over Size” will take place on May 17th at Bergen Hall, located at 295 Johnston Avenue. The market will include clothing sizes XS-6X from local creators, over 10 small businesses vendors selling locally-crafted goods, music, and more. Event Details
The Style Over Size market is being organized by two Jersey City residents and influencers, Megan Ixim and Gianna Angelina. The event will take place on Saturday, May 17th from 1PM to 4PM at Bergen Hall, located at 295 Johnston Avenue in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood.
The inclusive event will be plus-size centered and gender-inclusive, per an Instagram post. The clothing for sale will feature sizes XS to 6X, all curated from local creators’ closets (including Megan and Gianna).

In addition to the gender-inclusive clothing, there will also be a selection of Tri-State area businesses selling handmade goods like sweets, vintage items, astrology items, jewelry, and much more. DJ Blvck Truffle will provide live music at the event.
Style Over Size is free to attend, with any donations going to @bottomlessclosetnyc. The organizers are encouraging locals to reserve a ticket on Eventbrite for an extra surprise.
