Union Hall may be a newbie on the block, but this American-fare restaurant has already proven its tastiness since it opened this year. Best news? For those of you trying to stay slim, this spot offers a lean, mean Brussel Caesar salad that’s anything but boring. With parmesan, kale, lemon, roasted garlic, and croutons, there’s no shame in this salad game. You can get lunch for just $15 or dinner for $29 Monday through Friday. More info here.

Switch up your typical cake dessert for Flan Spring Rolls complete with chocolate sauce at Talde. As one of Jersey City’s newest hot spots, the rest of the menu won’t disappoint either. We’re talking Grilled Octopus Robata, Crispy Chow Fun, and Pork Sisig for some palate pleasers. Dinner is $30 during the week. {Above is a dim sum from their brunch but #yuuummmm}. More info here.

While it’s a newbie to Jersey City, the chef behind the meals is not — Leah Cohen of Pig & Khao — who has created yet another amazing menu. Try Korean Honey Buffalo Wings, Piggyback Ribs, and finish it off with Ricotta Doughnuts {you’re welcome}. Lunch is $18 and dinner is $28. More info here.

Best View: Liberty House
