Hoboken {Street} Style: Meet Jamie & Catey

Written by:

Street style is back in action for the holiday season! HobokenGirl.com has hit the street and is tracking down some casual catwalkers strutting their style down Washington Street {despite this bi-polar weather} – dress to impress may be the game, but finding stylish {Hoboken} girls is practically our name!

Meet Jamie:

This newly-engaged, and newly-transported {from Chelsea NYC} Hoboken resident was style-stalked {by yours truly} on her way to brunch. Even on this cold and windy day, Jamie’s signature style caught our eye – her classic chic approach, combining signature pieces {plaid, LV, you know the deal} really pulls her entire look together, even if only for a casual stroll:

Hoboken Street Style: Meet Jamie!

 GLASSES: Warby Parker

COAT: Marc New York {bought as a steal from TJMaxx!}

JEANS: Old Navy

SHOES: Vince Camuto

PURSE: Louis Vuitton

Describe your weekend style: Casual Chic

Go-to piece in your closet: Blanket scarves!

Favorite boutique in town: Mint Market

If you could have any celebrity’s wardrobe, it would be… Jennifer Aniston — especially in “Just Go With It” — super sophisticated/sexy!

Follow Jamie on IG: @sunnysully1

Can you tell that Jamie’s go-to piece is her scarves? Who could blame a girl when she is stuck in this snowy tundra that is Hoboken! We love her mix-and-match of affordability, splash of prep, and splurges — and wish her husband-to-be the best of luck keeping up with this photogenic Hoboken Girl!

Meet Catey:

This seven-year veteran of Hoboken didn’t hesitate when I stopped to admire her trendy ensemble; she describes her style as “boy-ish” but I’d say that she is anything but! Catey’s bubbly personality encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone in the fashion world {headwear — need that hat} as well as for my breakfast routine {her fave spot is Elysian for brunch!}.

Hoboken Street Style: Meet Catey!

Tell us about your outfit:

HAT: Dear Hannah

COAT: Club Monaco

SWEATER: Aritzia

JEANS: J-Brand

SHOES: Sam Edelman

Describe your weekend style: Boyish/Casual Chic/Hot Mess {though we definitely disagree with #3!}

Describe your favorite commuter piece: Booties — easy to walk in but still chic!

Go-to piece in your closet: Moto Jacket

Favorite boutique in town: Dear Hanna

If you could have any celebrity’s wardrobe, it would be… Edina from Ad Fab.

Follow Catey on IG: @cateyfabulous {and that she definitely is!}

Show some love for our chilly-weather fashion  – you could be next!

To be featured in the Street Style Section of HobokenGirl, you just need to be walking around Washington Street {this time we were up near seventh street, but you can never be sure!} in Hoboken and be looking stylish, of course. You never know, the next section of Hoboken Street Style could feature you.

Genna moved to Hoboken upon graduating from the University of Tennessee to start her Marketing career at HGTV, and is most currently at The Knot in downtown Manhattan. To Genna, there's nothing better than cheering on UT football, soaking in warm sunny weather on her balcony, and watching starry-skied movies on Pier 13. You may have spotted Genna as a customer associate at Anthropologie ...that is, when she's not doing Hot Yoga or punching bags at CKO! Most days, you can find Genna circling the Mile Square on an early morning run or attempting to justify her shopping habits along Washington Street.
