The incident is being investigated by the Hoboken Police and the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit. A neighbor in the building located at 300 Grand Street reached out to Hoboken Girl shared that they learned of what was going on inside the building due to the crime scene vans outside on the street and that there were no loud noises or disturbances throughout the night prior to the discovery from their POV. Police could be seen at the building investigating around 10PM on August 7th.

According to residents in the building, the situation occurred in a unit that is leased by a company called Viagem for short-term rental units. A resident who was present last night in his own apartment told us, “The only thing out of the norm we heard was after 9:00 a bunch of really loud people running down our hallway stomping and banging. But banging and stomping in the hallway could have been anything of course.”

“That unit — leased by Viagem — currently has a homicide scene tape across the door and is padlocked.”
