From the St. Ann Italian Festival in Hoboken to La Festa Italiana in Jersey City, Hudson County has no shortage of happenings to celebrate Italian heritage. Another highly popular event that takes place later in the year is The Hoboken Italian Festival, which takes place on the waterfront on Sinatra Drive Promenade between Newark Street and 2nd Street. The festival is back for 2023 and will be held from Thursday, September 7th to Sunday, September 10th. Also known as the Feast of the Madonna Dei Martiri, The Hoboken Italian Festival will be complete with delicious eats, entertainment, and more, as well as fireworks and a procession. Festival Details
The 2023 Hoboken Italian Festival includes a variety of music, food, rides, and games, plus, a fireworks show. The four-day festival will take place along the Hudson River on Sinatra Drive Promenade between Newark Street and 2nd Street from Thursday, September 7th to Sunday, September 10th, 2023. Sinatra Drive will be closed between Newark and Fourth Streets for the entire duration of the festival.

Saturday, September 9th will be the procession and “Feast Day,” when the 800lb statue of the Madonna Dei Martiri, or, Madonna of the Martyrs, is carried through the streets of Hoboken. Here is the procession route:

Entertainment + Activities Schedule
Along with the lineup of vendors, there will also be live music each night of the festival as well as various activities. Here is the entertainment lineup and events schedule:

- 11AM — Feast Mass at St. Francis Church
- 2PM — Feast Procession begins at St. Francis Church
- 4PM — Feast Procession continues on the Hudson River
