This week, our Hoboken Homes tours continue — and while it was fun to peep Eli Manning’s old Hudson Tea apartment, let’s just say that his old pad is getting a run for its money with our latest edition. The views the Hudson Tea condos are unlike anything else, and we were lucky enough to visit Leyla and Adam’s space in the Hudson Tea building. Read on to learn all about Leyla + Adam’s gorgeous Hoboken uptown home {+ take a peek inside}:

About Leyla + Adam

Leyla and Adam are high school sweethearts and were nice enough to let us come into their home with their French bulldog Reuben — yes, like the sandwich. They both grew up in Bergen County, then moved to Manhattan, but finally built their dream home in our little city of Hoboken. {And you might recognize Leyla as she was featured as Hoboken Girl of the Week {see here}; she owns her own fertility consulting business and is a registered RN.

The Journey

The duo purchased their home in August of 2017, and thus begun their year-long gut renovation. For the first six months of the reno, they lived in the uptown Dharma Suites. Why did the renovation take as long as it did? “Permits” was Leyla’s quickest answer. This is a common factor when residents are renovating in town.

Interior Design

As far as designing the home, Leyla left it in the V capable hands of local designer Marina Cheban, who also designed their previous apartment in NYC. Case-in-point: the finished product was well worth the year-long wait. Leyla wanted everything to be white, so that was the theme Marina worked with for this design project.

An absolute standout piece is the chandelier above the dinner table from Kelly Wearstler. Marina also incorporated Wearstler pieces in the bathroom and the cascading lighting above the master bed.

The couch, coffee table, dining table, and chairs are all from Restoration Hardware. Leyla added a pop of true North Jersey girl style with her animal print pillows on the living room chairs from William Sonoma.

The kitchen is perfect for any female that is on the shorter side of life. There is a wrap-around ladder to reach all the high cabinets so there is never any wasted space. The kitchen also features a Sub Zero refrigerator and Wolf stove surrounded by stunning stone and custom cabinets.

The master bedroom is every girl’s dream. Leyla has her beautiful shoe collection on display using closets from Ikea; all she did was change out the hardware to give it a little more bling. The vanity chair is from Mod Shop, while the wall art and bench are from West Elm — and bed from CB2.

All around the condo you’ll see fresh flowers from Hoboken’s very own Hudson Flowers {Leyla’s favorite store in town, along with Alba Boutique, she shared with us}. The stone in the apartment is from NY Stone located in Jersey City, the tile in all the bathrooms is from Tile Bar, and the wallpaper is from Missoni Home.

There are two additional bedrooms in the home. One is currently used as Leyla’s office, and Adam uses the closets in the other bedroom — because let’s be honest a Hoboken girl needs more than just one for herself in a perfect world. But truth be told, the guest bedroom is Leyla’s favorite room in the home, with a custom-built wall unit that is filled with Home Goods finds, the couple’s favorite books, photos of their travels and a mix of personal tchotchkes. The bed in this room is from Z Gallerie.

Leyla is hosting Christmas this year at her new home and could not be any more excited to do so. We are hoping to catch an invite 😉 because celebrating Christmas in this winter white wonderland would not be disappointing.

Thank you for letting us inside your home, Leyla + Adam!
