Fun “Stay At Home for the Hurricane” Events

1. Classic Movie and Pop-Corn Night

Pending there’s still power, pop in a favorite movie you haven’t seen or in a while. Or, go for a new release {Pitch Perfect 2 anyone?!}. Make some popcorn, turn down the lights and cozy up for a true at-home movie theatre experience.

2. Casino & Cards Night

Grab a deck of cards and host casino night. Play poker, blackjack, or bullsh**.  If you’re not in the mood to gamble, tie it in with some truth or date. The loser has to do whatever the winners say. So many ways to stay entertained!

3. Host a Wine & Board-Game Night for Your Neighbors

Get to know more people in your building by inviting them over for a game night. As everyone to bring their favorite board game and a snack or a bottle of wine. Make sure to have some great party classics around– Taboo, Apple to Apples, and Cards Against Humanity are always a safe bet.  If all else fails, play charades– it will make for lots of laughs!

4. Light Some Candles and Read a Good Book

Our lives can all be crazy busy. Use the bad weather as an excuse to curl up with a good book and unwind. Light your favorite candle, grab a cozy blanket, and get lost in a whole new world.
