About Hoboken Art Month

Started in 2024, Hoboken Art Month was designed to be a month-long showcase of the city’s culture and personality. With displays from local artists, creative practitioners, and arts-based businesses, it embodied the goal of connecting creatives and businesses to power the city’s cultural heart.

This year’s edition operates with a similar goal — five weeks of local creativity from September 28th to November 3rd. “This month-long celebration supports local artists and small businesses while reaffirming our commitment to public art and cultural engagement,” said Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla in a press conference. “I encourage residents and visitors to take part in the creativity that defines Hoboken and supports the city’s economy.”

Among the event’s programming are exhibitions, installations, live performances, workshops, and family-friendly activities.
