HDSID’S Halloween Family Bash Returns to Jersey City on 10/31

Fall is always an exciting season in the historic downtown. Between farmers markets and festivals, Hoboken and Jersey City are always planning fun-filled, family events for the local community to enjoy. This Halloween, the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District will be hosting a spooky Halloween Family Bash on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall + Plaza. Read on to find out more about this spooky and fun-filled event in Jersey City at the end of the month.

About The Halloween Family Bash

Hosted by The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District, the Halloween Family Bash will be a ghoulishly good time with vendors the whole family will enjoy. With dangerously delicious food, spooky games, thrilling rides, and more, this festive event is free to attend. Rides are $10 and includes all rides, and face painting is $5.

The Halloween Bash will take place rain or shine and will feature a number of different events and activations including a mechanical pumpkin ride, corn maze, as well as face painting and a bouncy house for the little ones, Halloween candy and treats, and more. The Halloween event will include live music and a DJ throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a sensory-friendly zone on Barrow Street hosted by Whole Spectrum Autism for those who would prefer a less stimulating environment to celebrate Halloween.
