Jersey City’s Goatchella Music Festival Kicks Off Today, 6/27

Jersey City’s Goatchella Music Festival is returning for 2025, and it kicks off tonight. Held at the Historic Jersey City and Harismus Cemetery at 435 Newark Avenue, the two-day festival benefiting the cemetery will take place from Friday, June 27th, through Saturday, June 28th. About the Event

Jersey City’s 2025 Goatchella Music Festival, presented by The Rock-It Docket by Dancing Tony, will take place over two days from Friday, June 27th to Saturday, June 28th. The event benefits the Historic Jersey City and Harismus Cemetery as well as the goats and will feature an extensive lineup of live music performances. The full schedule is as follows:

Friday, June 27th

  • 6PM: Gates
  • 6PM: 3 Dollars
  • 6:50PM: Nite Music
  • 7:40PM: Howlin Bill + The Basement Dwelletrs
  • 8:30PM: The Everymen – Resurrected
  • Between sets: DJ Gender Cult

Tickets for Friday’s performances cost $20 for adults, $10 for accompanied minors, and the gates open at 5:30PM.

Admission starts at 2:30PM on Saturday, and the events are free up until the 6PM performance. After 6PM, tickets cost $20 for adults, and $10 for accompanied minors. Tickets can be bought here.

Goatchella will also be complete with food from Two Slices and El Chilango. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food to enjoy picnic-style, except glass containers and alcohol. No pets are allowed as there will be goats and sheep on-site. This event is funded in part by a grant from the Jersey City Arts + Cultural Trust Fund.
