After an extended period of living, working, and playing from home, gyms and personal training studios in Hoboken are likely to see an uptick in visitors as people set goals to get out and move more. Dave and Sarah Quevedo started Fit Foundry in January 2017 after owning a 1-on-1 in-home training business for seven years. This brick-and-mortar fitness studio provides personalized training through semi-private and large group training without the premium price of 1-on-1 service. Plenty of Space for Every BODY at Fit Foundry

As the only fitness studio that offers both large group classes as well as semi-private personal training sessions simultaneously, the Fit Foundry has a leg up on other local studios in the fitness industry.

“Our 8,000 square foot space gives us plenty of room to move around and offer various types of functional training through TRX, Kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, fitness ropes, and fitness sleds,” Dave mentioned. “We provide clients the opportunity to try us out for 15 days before committing. With any new client membership we include assessment and strategy sessions that help us plan out their program and roadmap to success.”

Dave keeps notes on each client regarding injuries, capabilities, and any other important information the coaches need to know throughout a client’s time at the Fit Foundry. Tracking these details helps the coaches better guide the client through their training journey.

“Our sessions are streamlined to help better measure the client’s progress. We have three signature large group training options: Titanium, Inferno, and Accelerator. Each one varies in intensity,” Dave said. “The semi-private training sessions have the feel of a one-on-one session but with comradery and more affordability.”

A Locally-Owned Business Focused on the Community

As a locally-owned and operated small business, the Fit Foundry aims to help the community live better using strength training, functional training, and nutrition in a safe and encouraging environment.

“We love the Hoboken community for many people’s efforts to help each other improve.  It feels like those who stuck around through the pandemic are all in this together to help each other and businesses thrive. We see it with the local businesses, school, and neighbors,” Dave told Hoboken Girl. “As a locally owned and operated business we want to be able to provide this community with the very best of ourselves and our knowledge. Our goal is to be the best part of someone’s day, and whether that be having them crack a smile, or set a personal best, we are happy to have the opportunity to do so.”

The staff at the Fit Foundry are passionate about the work they do and collectively have close to 30 years of personal training experience.

“We love our job because we get to help people become better versions of themselves. We work through the issues getting in the way of their success, and in some cases give people realistic and tangible goals so they can feel better about themselves and improve their knowledge of fitness and nutrition,” Dave said. “What makes this job so rewarding is being able to see our clients give their best effort and we get the opportunity to positively impact their lives.”

Don’t forget that when you sign up for a 15-day trial ($69) you also receive one assessment/strategy session, access to unlimited large team sessions, two semi-private personal training sessions, and open access to the gym.
