Located at 86 Garden Street, Dutch’s Sandwich Shop is spreading the love from its original Montclair location to Hoboken, bringing its hip approach to sandwiches to the neighborhood. Known for distinct flavors + creative combinations (and names), the shop has quickly built a following among Essex County locals and is now bringing that same energy to Hoboken. About Dutch’s Sandwich Shop + What’s on the Menu
Owner Amir Kamal grew up in New York City, where he was exposed to cuisines from around the world, a background that continues to influence the Dutch’s Sandwich Shop today. The shop is named after his late Olde English Bulldog, Dutch, who was a beloved part of Amir’s life. For Amir, sandwiches have always been more than just two slices of bread with something in the middle. They represent a lifelong passion, blending his love of food with inspiration drawn from music, art

The menu is expected to closely reflect the Montclair location, which is filled with cool, crave-worthy options. Diners can expect wraps like a classic chicken Caesar, collaborative sandwiches created with local creators, and loaded fries, including the Korean Zombie option topped with gochujang beef, spicy kimchi, gochujang sauce, and spicy mayo. The lineup also includes hot sandwiches and classic New York–style chopped sandwiches, offering something that feels fresh and exciting for the Hoboken sandwich scene.
Dutch’s Sandwich Shop, which had its soft opening on Monday, February 9th, is now open to the public.
