Blood donations are always in need. Donations are needed more than ever now, according to the American Red Cross, since its blood supply has reached a 10-year low. Covid-19, its variants, and recent natural disasters that have injured many people have led to an increase in demand.
If you are interested in helping, schedule an appointment at one of the upcoming blood drives and/or host a blood drive at your organization. The basic requirements to give a pint of “whole blood,” which is the blood that flows through everybody’s veins, are being at least 16-years-old, weighing 110 lbs or more, and being in good health and feeling well.
