There’s something special about being from New Jersey, and it seems that Hollywood has taken notice. Casting director Nina Malek, who works for the company that produces The Real Housewives of New Jersey, put out a call to local socialites on Instagram last week. The company is looking for people with a big personality or big family who are looking to be involved with reality television. The Specifics
On February 15th, Nina posted on her Instagram that the company is now casting “funny, fabulous, and successful socialites in New Jersey.” The post goes into detail that this casting call can apply to people in multiple situations:
- you have an amazing, full life that you want to share with the world
- you have a strong, funny, and outspoken personality that tends to draw people in
- you come from a large, close-knit family that is meant for TV
Candidates must be at least 21 years old to apply. Prospective stars can either DM or email Nina with a little bit about yourself, your personality, your family, your life in general, and why you would be a good addition to the show. Keep in mind that the post does not specify what exactly the casting call is for – whether that’s RHONJ or another local reality show (as reported by Patch).
