Many clients ask the questions, “am I saving enough to retire at X age? Are my investments taking on too much risk? Or not enough?” And even “what would happen if I wasn’t around?”

“My goal is to answer all my clients’ questions by providing my clients with a very personal and custom experience. I spent the first 20 years of my career at institutional money managers and Ivy League investment firms. Now I am using all that experience to provide each one of my clients with the same Ivy League level of investment experience but focusing on their individual needs and goals. As time has passed I have become an active part of my clients having children, moving to new homes, changing jobs and so many more major life events. I enjoy being part of the decision-making process as much or more than they do. I love being a trusted advisor. I also truly enjoy watching my clients’ portfolios grow and seeing them achieving their financial goals,” Amy shared with The Hoboken Girl.

At AFG Wealth Management, Amy and her team focus on all aspects of a client’s financial health creating a financial strategy by working with each client on their money mindset. Amy and her team spend time exploring the habits that hold her clients back from reaching financial goals and creating a plan to build new healthy habits. This hands-on service is what sets AFG apart.

AFG prides itself on open communication, providing critical financial education, and building quality long-term relationships to ensure its clients feel confident and comfortable in their financial planning and goals.

Money mindset is also a big focus for Amy and her team. Anyone who works with AFG Wealth Management spends time exploring the habits that hold them back from reaching financial goals and creating a plan to build new ones.

“I love being able to provide my clients with truly independent advice, I have no firm mandate to follow, no sales quota, no firm designated investments, and no limitations on who I can work with. I am also truly fortunate to consider all of my clients’ friends, some close friends,” Amy said.

Upcoming Personal Finance Events

The AFG Wealth Management team works hard to educate clients about personal finances by hosting events to share essential personal finance information with the public. Understanding money mindset, especially figuring out what is holding someone back, is key to successfully reaching a person’s financial goals.

Although personal finance education is so important, most people were not set up for success and only learned money habits (both good and bad) from their parents.

AFG Wealth Management hosts events to share essential personal finance information with the public. A few upcoming events:

This event on March 16th at 1:45PM at Rumble Hoboken honors International Women’s Day by empowering women to take control of their finances. The session will cover the money mindset, the basics of financial health, and investing.
