And as the Garden State, there is no shortage of amazing artisan and farmer’s markets throughout the Northern New Jersey area and beyond. One Jersey City non-profit, The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID), hosts some of the most popular markets in the Hoboken and Jersey City area — and on April 22nd, the organization’s Spring/Summer Farmers’ Market will return for locals at the Grove Street PATH Plaza in Jersey City. The 2024 Market + Vendors
The Historic Downtown Jersey City Spring/Summer Farmers Market is back for the 2024 Spring/Summer Season from Monday, April 22nd until Thursday, December 19th, 2024. Locals and visitors alike can shop farm-fresh produce, baked goods, and many other local delights at the Grove Street PATH Plaza in Jersey City. The market will be open every Monday and Thursday from 3PM to 7PM. Along with the vendors returning from previous years, there are also many new businesses to check out this year.
Vendors will be selling organic produce + fruit, baked goods, freshly-baked bread, gourmet nuts, coffee, juice, dog treats, perfumes, skincare products, and much more. Some of the vendors at this year’s HDSID Spring/Summer Farmers Market you can look forward to seeing include:
A beloved, family-owned company that sells gluten-free and keto-friendly sauces. The four varieties are marinara, basil marinara, vodka, and low-sodium marinara.
Artisanal sourdough made fresh to order with local ingredients that will make it hard not to eat it as soon as it arrives.
Smoothies, shots, cold-pressed juices, + acai bowls that are packed with fruits + vegetables. Popular juices include The Hamilton Park (apple, beet, carrot, + ginger), + the Peacock Delight (coconut water, pineapple, + blue spirulina).
Various dessert items like cakes, tres leches, cookie butter, flan, chocolate-covered strawberries, and crumb cakes, among other sweet treats.
All-natural + organic self-care products like sugar scrubs, hair oil, beard oil, body butter, + lip balms that are available in a variety of natural scents.
A family-owned farm that sells fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, baked goods, and flowers grown in the 20,000-square-foot greenhouse. The farm itself also provides U-Pick for strawberries, pumpkins, and vegetables.
Various treats for dogs including dog beer, organic biscuits, doggie ice cream, and other frozen treats for your pup.
Specialty single-origin coffee from small farms in Latin America, with a roaster on-site so shoppers know that the coffee is fresh.
Various seasoned pickles, olives, and fermented vegetables — often referred to as Downtown’s favorite pickles.
