Attain Medspa was started by owner and CEO, Lauren Ben-Meir in 2019. Hand in hand with Angelica Di Vita, the Head Esthetician, the two women oversee daily operations with the goal of delivering the skin and beauty results each client is searching for.
“There are so many things I love about running Attain, but the number one thing has to be making people happy. The way we feel about our skin impacts us far below the surface. So for anyone that has struggled at any point to love their skin, getting great results can be life changing,” Lauren told Hoboken Girl. “We know at the end of the day we have made a difference in people’s lives and that’s the most fulfilling feeling.”

Attain Medspa just launched its first skincare membership for pre-teens and teens which consists of medical-grade private label skincare products. Each client receives a skincare analysis and then a customized skincare treatment plan is formulated by a skincare professional to resolve specific issues.
Adults (17+) Skincare Membership

Lauren has noticed a pattern in why people often don’t prioritize skincare and it comes down to matters of time and money. For that reason, treatments are quick and reasonably priced.
“We try to keep all of our treatments to an hour or less and often try to come up with packages and specials to help us reduce the cost of our services. In developing our own private label medical-grade skincare line we stood by those same ethics by providing effective and affordable skincare solutions and serums,” Lauren shared. “I have struggled with my skin since I was young. While I was a single mom, I found it difficult to strike the balance between affording expensive skin care treatments and supplementing them with drug store finds. I just want to help prevent anyone else from having to go through the same thing and create a better overall experience.”
This new line expands the boutique skincare client base and positions Attain Medspa as a destination for pre-teens and beyond.
Lauren’s Thoughts on Owning a Business in Hudson County
Hoboken and Jersey City are full of people who are making entrepreneurial dreams come true every day. Lauren joined those rankings when she opened Attain Medspa in 2019. Her passion for the area has continued to grow.
“I love these incredible big-little cities that are self-creating and manifesting who they want to be. Unlike other larger cities that seem to be already made, Jersey City and Hoboken can continue to evolve at the direction of their own community,” Lauren said. “It’s the people that live here that dictate what business will be successful and welcoming new families. This is a community-driven city versus a development-driven city.”
