A diamond ring is great, sure, but here in New Jersey, nothing says “forever” like Italian food. In an almost prophetic series of events, Albie Manzo — son of former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo — celebrated his engagement to his wife-to-be, Chelsea DeMonaco in one of the best Italian spots the Garden State has to offer: Hoboken’s very own Augustino’sRead on for what we know about Albie Manzo + Chelsea DeMonaco’s Augustino’s engagement celebration.

Per Page Six, Albie + Chelsea made it officially official, confirmed by a “sweet snap” on Caroline’s Instagram that read “She said YES!!” See the Instagram below.

Now, most RHONJ fans probably have their eyes on Chelsea’s new rock (which, is total heart eyes), but here at The Hoboken Girl, we are laser-focused on those fringe curtains in the top left corner. Augustino’s, we’d recognize you anywhere.

This morning, Chelsea took to Instagram to share a photo dump of her “unbelievable night,” confirming that the engagement celebration took place at 1104 Washington Street. Chelsea and some friends even posed in front of the trademark Augustino’s banner.

Per Page Six, Albie surprised his fiance by “telling her they were going to a birthday dinner for his dad, Albert Manzo.” As it would turn out, the party was actually a celebration of their engagement, which is totally adorable.

Page Six also shared that though the couple is freshly engaged, they’ve been dating since winter of 2019, and already have plans for a destination wedding in Italy. Just like we said: *nothing* says forever like Italian food.

True Hobokenites know that Albie is no stranger to The Mile Square — in 2013, Albie lived in the 333 River Apartments along with his brother, Chris, who was briefly the owner of Tenth Street Pizza (another local staple). We have a list of times RHONJ cast members and cast members-adjacents have been spotted in Hoboken here.

We are so happy for Albie + Chelsea and wish the couple a lifetime of happiness (which, if visits to Augustino’s are routine, that’s a lock).

BTW, Albie, Chelsea, and their families aren’t the only reality TV faces popping up in Hudson County recently. Just this morning Lo Bosworth was spotted at the Jersey City Target, which has also been graced by Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainer, and John Legend in recent years. The sun is shining and the celebs are coming out to play.
