Well, that was fun. The #HobokenGirlSocial for December — our holiday party/sweets soirée and charity fundraiser for the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corp was on Thursday night — and quite the sweet time {pun intended}.
The event sold out and not only raised $1000 for charity, but attendees also got to sample desserts from local bakeries and sweet spots including Baking Mama, But-A-Cake, Jaret’s Stuffed Cupcakes, Om Sweet Home, Insomnia Cookies, Sugar Suckle, and Halifax — with delish prosecco from LaMarca Prosecco. TRUE Mentors was also in attendance to recruit volunteers. There was a DJ, photobooth, and lots of festive fun — as well as raffles from European Wax Center and The Happy Box Store as well as FREE Cycle Bar class passes—perfect for a holiday evening in December. Thanks to all who came out for this amazing cause. Can’t wait for next year!
