Southwest Pop-up Park | 59 Harrison Street
If you prefer to pickle in the sun, this downtown park features six outdoor pickleball courts with permanent lines, but players need to bring their own nets. The courts are free to use and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Viaduct Pickleball Court | On 14th Street between Grand + Adams
You may know this location for the Uptown Hoboken’s Farmers’ Market, but you can also enjoy a pickleball game after you get your weekly produce and grab a coffee at the uptown bwe location. These outdoor courts are also BYON (bring your own net) and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, free of charge.
Learning to Play
The City of Hoboken Department of Recreation provides lessons for adults at every level, and hosts a competitive-level open play for advanced players weekly. Interested players can also use pickleball-focused sites such as Pickleheads or Global Pickleball Network to find an instructor or other people to play with.
