Why We Love Milford

The town of Milford is located right on the bank of the Delaware River and is rich with history and charm. Known as the birthplace of the American Conservation Movement, Milford is home to a number of important American landmarks including Gray Towers and Forest Hall which are still popular sites to see today. What began as a small conservation movement led by then Governor Gifford Pinchot and US President Theodore Roosevelt, eventually became a nationwide project to expand the national park service throughout the United States.
