Stephen El Hassan, owner of O’Bagel, is at it again — he and his team have launched O’Deli at its outpost located at 600 Washington Street. O’Bagel has created a name for itself in New Jersey as a go-to bagel spot and has accumulated somewhat of a cult following. If you don’t believe us, just stop by in the morning on the weekend and witness the line down the block. O’Bagel has won titles in HG’s Best of Hoboken awards several years in a row – and for good reason. Always innovative, always collaborating, and introducing new concepts, 2022 is no different and has introduced the most exciting venture within the brand yet. Family-owned and operated, the original O’Bagel location was founded in Stirling, followed by Riverwalk and Dewy Meadow, and in 2016, the doors opened at its Hoboken location and the rest is history.

Stephen describes his menu as a labor of love — and memories. He takes an artistic approach when it comes to food, offering sandwiches he’s been making since he was a kid. “All of our sandwiches are named after hometown schools or childhood memories,” he shared with HG in the past.

Living up to its creative rep, on April 4th, Stephen announced that O’Bagel launched O’Deli, the shop’s “newest and tastiest lunch menu yet available from 11-2PM. You already know what we do for breakfast, now it’s about elevating our lunch game to a whole other level. We’re twisting up the classics like the Turkey Club and the Reuben and bringing some vegan love with options like the Ve-Gano. Available ONLY at our Hoboken location,” he said in a video via the shop’s Instagram page.
