Locals may be surprised to know that over a dozen beauty businesses have come to Hoboken in the last year, with more anticipated to set down roots in 2025. Within the realm of beauty business are over 20 nail salons, one of which is popular spot, Nailed It. After opening its doors in 2023, Nailed It plans to expand to a second location in Hoboken, thanks to a tip from an eagle-eyed HG reader. About Nailed It
After opening in October 2023, Nailed It has grown its clientele with a variety of appointment-only services. The nail salon, located at 318 Madison Street, is staffed with talented nail technicians who specialize in high-quality manicures and pedicures and have an extensive service menu to match. From intricate nail designs and basic mani pedis to Dazzle Dry, UV gel, and dip powder extensions, there’s a little something for everyone here. Nailed It also has specialty pedicures such as the Gold Spa Pedicure and Silver Spa Pedicure, which feature careful callus removal, foot and leg massages, hot stones, and more. Kids ages ten and under can also get their fancy fix at Nailed It with a kids’ manicure and pedicure.

One of our loyal readers snapped a photo of signage in the windows at 517 Willow Avenue in Hoboken, prompting the question: is Nailed It expanding to open a second location?
We spoke with Nailed It owner James, who revealed that the new location would be coming “very soon” to 517 Willow Avenue in Hoboken. James told us that this second location is a “different type of nail salon” that focuses on nail design and will be staffed by his closest nail experts. James applauded his talented staff of nail artists, saying that they often book out months in advance for locals seeking specialty nails, and it was time to expand.
The original Nailed It location will remain open, and the new space will focus solely on nail art + design and Dazzle Dry manicures (no standard mani-pedis). James’s goal is to continue providing high-quality nail care and cater to those seeking intricate nail design for special events such as weddings, proms, engagements, and more.
