Main Street Pops and the Hoboken Business Alliance have teamed up to host a holiday shopping showcase at Lackawanna Terminal this weekend for locals to continue their holiday shopping – while supporting small. The pop-up event will conclude ‘Holiday on the Hudson,’ a month-long celebration of Hoboken’s winter happenings.

The showcase will be a larger version of Main Street Pops’ artisan markets under the 14th Street Viaduct, showcasing 80+ artisan makers and creators. It will feature unique, handmade gifts including jewelry, clothes, accessories, home decor, pet gifts, kids products, art, photography, artisanal foods, and more.

The event will feature live music from local performers such as the Hoboken High School Marching Band & chorus, roving carolers from All Saints Episcopal Church Adult Choir, The School of Rock house band, a singalong with The Fuzzy Lemons and DJ Tim “The Dawg” Nelson spinning holiday tunes.

Santa will even make a special appearance and stroll the market from 12PM to 2PM, taking photos with our visitors and wishing one and all a very merry holiday season.

“Local makers and artisans are a key component of creating a unique, only-in-Hoboken holiday shopping experience that can’t be matched online,” said Steven Welliver, Executive Director of the Hoboken Business Alliance said in a statement. “Hoboken Business Alliance is thrilled to support our community’s creative entrepreneurs.”

“We are looking forward to bringing our market downtown for more people to enjoy, and so pleased that the Hoboken Business Alliance is teaming up with us to support local artisans and bring more engaging programs to our community,” said Zabrina Stoffel, one of the co-founders of Main Street Pops.
