Pride is more than a single-day celebration or even a month, but rather a year-round movement that celebrates LGBTQ+ people. Jersey City honors Pride in the month of August, unlike the rest of the United States, which usually celebrates Pride in June. To honor our incredible LGBTQ+ community here in Hudson County, the Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, August 23rd from 1PM to 9PM.
