Hudson Golf is changing the game, quite literally, right here in Hoboken. Located at 16 Hudson Place, Hudson Golf is so much more than an indoor golf simulator. Because it’s conveniently located directly across from the PATH station in downtown Hoboken, Hudson Golf is a great spot pre or post commute or even as a central meeting place for out of town friends. This new sporting venue also has a full bar serving handcrafted cocktails and an elevated bar menu with everything made fresh and in-house. With a focus on the finer details and individual experience, Hudson Golf is a great outing for everyone from serious golfers, to casual players, to those new to the game looking for a fun day out. Team HG recently visited this new spot and couldn’t get enough of the facility. Read on to learn more about Hudson Golf and why this unique sporting venue has become so popular in Hoboken.
What is Hudson Golf
Hudson Golf came to Hoboken in early 2023, providing a unique space for both golfers + non-golfers to enjoy. Co-founders and Hoboken residents, Hunter Waterman + Erin Pucciarelli were excited to bring this concept to life alongside of a strong team of directors, including CJ Mendez (FOH and Beverage Director) and Daniel Castano, PGA (Director of Golf), all of whom are under 32-years-old – hello, Forbes.
The indoor golf simulator venue is for everyone – whether you’re a serious golfer looking to improve your game, a casual player out to have fun with friends, or if you’re really just going for the food + bevs (we won’t judge). They host corporate events and private parties and even have memberships, golf lessons, + club fittings available. This one-stop-shop brings business and pleasure to a new level.
What to Expect
The venue, which overlooks lower Manhattan + Jersey City (with stunning sunset views, if we do say so ourselves), is fully equipped with five bays, each using TrackMan indoor golf technology — which is known to be the best of the best in the golf world. Bays are rented out by the hour and can be reserved online up to seven days out. Also, if you don’t have a reservation, you can grab a bite or a drink at the bar. The bays can accommodate up to eight golfers at a time, making this the perfect spot to host a party or event. Hudson Golf is family-friendly and welcomes children of all ages, however, guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Each bay is fitted for both righty and lefty golfers and even supplies clubs + balls at no extra cost. And for your enjoyment and comfort, each space is gorgeously furnished with a TV and has its very own server for all of your food and drink needs.
“We had this vision of creating a space for both golfers and non-golfers to enjoy. Hearing our customers appreciate and enjoy Hudson Golf, regardless of skill level, is the best part,” co-founders Erin and Hunter shared with The Hoboken Girl.
The Food + Drink Menu
Hudson Golf isn’t just about the game – the team is committed to making it a great place for everyone to gather, regardless of golf experience. In addition to the simulators, this local spot also has a full bar and kitchen, serving handcrafted signature cocktails as well as a variety of fresh dishes made in-house and La Colombe coffee – hot or iced. The elevated menu is nothing like you’d expect from a sporting venue. They have it all – from delicious sliders to salads to some savory apps like buffalo cauliflower + a yellowfin tuna stack. Even if you’re not golfing, stop in for a bite to eat or one of their signature cocktails.
Now, more about the bevs. The bar features handcrafted cocktails, draft + canned beers, and wine – and, of course, a Transfusion, which no golf day would be complete without. In addition, you’ll find a blend of original and classic cocktails such as spicy margs, negronis, and the Hudson Golf Classic – Tenjaku gin, Martini + Rossi Fiero, pineapple, lime, + honey. HG Pro Tip: Order the Espresso Martini, rumor has it, it’s one of the best in town.
Sunset Hour at Hudson Golf is from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Monday through Thursday, which means 20% off of all drinks and pizza through the summer. Yes, please.
Membership + Other Amenities
While Hudson Golf is great for parties and events, many also enjoy the perks of membership + other services that are available such as the following:
