Mile Square Theatre Reopens with The Niceties

Mile Square Theatre, located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken, is officially reopening with The Niceties on March 23rd at 8:00PM. The ‘barnburner of a play’ (The Washington Post) stars DeAnna Supplee and Annie McAdams and is a thought-provoking drama not to be missed. The play will run from March 23rd to April 17th with shows at 8:00PM on Wednesday through Saturday and 3:00PM on Sunday. 2 Girls Giving Hope Inc. is hosting its first annual fundraising event next Friday, April 1st from 7:00PM-3:00AM at Madd Hatter Bar & Restaurant, located at 221 Washington Street in Hoboken. The non-profit event will raise children’s cancer awareness and stem cell research, as well as help send Charlie, an Ewing’s Sarcoma child cancer survivor, on a dream vacation. The event will include music, drinks, food, dancing, raffle baskets, + more for attendees to enjoy as they fundraise for a good cause. Be sure to let them know Hoboken Girl sent you.

The Laugh Tour at Dorrian’s Red Hand

Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, March 26th at 7:00PM and 9:00PM. The Laugh Tour is hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature comedians from Netflix, The Tonight Show, TikTok, America’s Got Talent, and more. Show tickets purchased online in advance of the show are $15 and are $20 day of and at the door with a 2 item minimum per person. Additional shows will take place all of April. Please note, doors to the exterior are ajar for ventilation with a fireplace on inside, and weather permitting shows are outdoors on the terrace.(All indoor events will require proof of vaccination or a 72-hour negative test with ID).

The Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County was founded in 1893 to create a positive place for the youth of Jersey City, NJ. In the 126 years since the Club has expanded its scope exponentially by offering a mix of nationally developed programs and activities. Hope House, an emergency shelter for homeless women with children, helps families become self-sufficient by giving them an opportunity for decision-making and for assuming responsibility for improving their situation under the supervision, support, and guidance of shelter staff. Housing up to 20 mothers and their children, the program offers short-term supervised residence, including three meals a day, assessment/planning, case management, housing, education, food, and clothing.
