Beyond Green Rock
Green Rock is a well-known fixture in downtown Hoboken, but it’s just one of the local spots powered by The Light Group, a locally owned hospitality collective that’s shaping the Mile Square’s nightlife scene. Other neighborhood staples like Texas Arizona, River Street Garage, McSwiggan’s, and The Waiting Room fall under The Light Group umbrella, along with uptown sushi spot Saku.
Former MLB pitcher Patrick Light is the man behind it all. He has been redefining the local bar scene with creative concepts like Free Burger Friday at Texas Arizona, The Waiting Room’s seasonal pop-ups, and the “reverse cover,” where they’ll literally pay you to enter the bar.
The Light Group’s bars and restaurants are Hoboken’s staple spots to visit any day of the week. Whether you’re looking to catch the big game, kick back with friends, or enjoy some live music, The Light Group’s spots are always a good time.
Don’t forget, Green Rock Tap & Grill will be hosting Dollar Beer night every Friday from 5PM to 10PM.
