As we bundle up, our healthy summer meal plan routines seem to fade away. Fall and winter call for warm, hearty meals that fill our tummies, but tend to pack on the pounds. Fortunately, you can have that comfort food taste with Graze and Braise’s Paleo meal prep {the week’s meals = planned} delivered straight to your door {no more chilly runs to the store} — minus the guilt and food coma. This food delivery service operates out of a commercial kitchen in Jersey City and uses organic meats and vegetables in all of its dishes. Each dish is 100% gluten-free and paleo, so you can enjoy your comfort food sans the guilt. Here’s a bit more about the company:

Macros Listed = BONUS!

If you’ve ordered Graze and Braise in the past, you’ll be excited to know that the new meals list out ALL of your macros — something that not many meal plans do. Macros are the building blocks of nutrition, and if you’re watching what you eat or working towards a fitness goal, you’re most likely counting them. If you read this and have zero clue what we’re talking about, they’re also known as the actual count of carbohydrates, proteins, and fat in your food. Macros are the nutrients you need in large amounts, as they provide your body with the calories it needs to function.

The New Menu

Graze and Braise is offering up a new menu, and it’s going to be a lifesaver as the days get shorter during cold winter months and as the holiday hustle and bustle kicks in full force. Whether you follow a strict Paleo diet or are interested in trying a new meal plan, here’s what you need to know about the dishes: everything is made with the highest quality ingredients like grass-fed beef, pastured raised pork, antibiotic-free chicken {and of course some veggie options}. As far as starches go, you can expect to see coconut mashed yams, spiced yucca, and veggie stir fry in your to-go container. And there’s no butter here: only healthy fats like avocado oil and coconut cream.

Zap Fitness

^Polish Stuffed Cabbage {with beef} is a total comfort food-turned-paleo that doesn’t skimp on flavor and left us feeling 100% satisfied.

Here’s a peek at the new winter menu:

^As you can see, all the macros/calories listed out so it’s easy to track.

A few of our favorites include the Portobello Chili and Mashed Yams {ooooomg, you’ll never miss meat in chili ever again} and Butternut Squash Red Curry Insaaaane. It’s pretty clear that the Graze and Braise team knows how to spin eating calorically sound with comfort food — which is hard to find these days. Every ingredient in each meal is listed right on the container. #Sold.
