There’s a new kid in town in the south-west corner of Hoboken + they’re opening soon. Located at 61 Jackson Street {formerly Jack’s Cabin}, G.Millz Boken Roadhouse is just about ready to welcome the SW ‘boken crowd. Partners and longtime friends, Anthony Giaquinto and Phil Miller, {hence the restaurant name} decided to open up shop here after manning a few other successful restaurants and clubs in the area. They have been in the restaurant business for 30+ years. Giaquinto is a Hoboken guy through and through, so he was excited to bring his expertise to his family’s hometown. Vibe + Crowd

Being set back from the Washington Street scene, G. Millz expects to bring in the after-work crowd. With TVs lining the walls, this is the perfect spot to catch a sports game and meet up with friends. Their hope is for the place to be a gathering space for people looking to grab drinks + a bite to eat. Outdoor seating will be available for all to enjoy as well. So, come hungry {+ thirsty} and be ready to kick back. With daily and happy hour specials, there’s something for everyone.

Menu

The menu will feature a little bit of this and a little bit of that focusing on classic favorites plates under the direction of Executive Chef, Elena Dwyer. The Chicken and Waffle Sliders and Short Rib Grilled Cheese were fan favorites at Jack’s Cabin and will continue to be on the menu along with a selection of burgers, wings, salads, and more. There are tons of gluten-free options, too {including Naked Wings + Henry’s Mini Meatballs}. According to the owners, G. Millz is all about supporting other local business and will even be featuring beers on tap from some Hoboken breweries.

G. Millz will also feature daily specials like Taco Tuesdays + All You Can Eat Pasta Wednesdays — count us in for both of those.
