More and more cafes and coffee shops in the Hudson County area have begun adding menu items just for dogs. That’s right – even our precious pooches can have their morning puppuccino on their walk. Check out several spots we’ve spotted in Hoboken and Jersey City offering up treats and drinks for dogs.

The Grind | 360 Communipaw Avenue, Jersey City
Located in the Bergen-Lafayette section of Jersey City, The Grind has a loyal following of coffee lovers. Bring the pups to try the Grind’s puppuccino for less than a dollar. A small amount to pay for your pup’s happiness.
Cornerstone Pets | 105 9th Street, Hoboken
Have a birthday coming up for a furry friend? Visit Cornerstone to pick up a sweet treat like a dog-friendly cake for a VIP cat or dog to help them to celebrate their special day. The boutique also has an online shop that offers shipping services from cupcakes to confetti-themed bones.
Bonus:
Brody’s Barkery | 561 Hudson Street, West New York
This dog bakery specializes in making birthday cakes and cookies for your furry pooch. Their cookies are hand-made and oven-baked made in small batches for maximum freshness and flavor. Their “barkday” cakes come in sizes four to six inches to celebrate your dog’s special day. Also, these cakes are never frozen and have no artificial flavors, no chicken stock, no sweeteners, and no preservatives.
In a Pinch:
Dunkin Donuts | Multiple Locations
DD’s offers a whipped cream treat for dogs known as ‘Cup for Pup’ or ‘a puppy latte’ which raises money for Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Many locations also offer dog treats.
Shake Shack | 111 Washington Street, Hoboken
This eatery doesn’t just offer burgers and fries – it also offers a pooch-ini, which is made with “shakeburger” dog biscuits, peanut butter sauce, and vanilla custard. It also offers a more simple item, the Bag O’Bones, which is a simple bag of about five treats.
Starbucks | Multiple Locations
The puppuccino can be found on the secret menu. While not listed on the app, most baristas will know what this whipped drink is and happily make one for customers. Starbucks applied for a “puppuccino” trademark in May 2021.
