One-Year Anniversary Celebration
downtown FLWR will celebrate its first anniversary in Jersey City with sales + pop-up events. The party starts on September 21st at the All About Downtown Street Fair and continues until October 6th.
Special deals and pop-up events are scheduled from September 21st to October 6th, so keep an eye on the downtown FLWR Instagram page for announcements.
“We are heavily involved in the community and love to give back! We appreciate and love all of our customers and patients that come through our doors,” Amanda Hardy, owner of downtown FLWR told The Hoboken Girl.
The downtown FLWR team is excited to celebrate the one-year anniversary + is ready to answer questions about new brands and products including edibles, pre-rolls, vaporizers, and concentrates.
Cannabis Products at downtown FLWR
The boutique-style dispensary sells medical and adult recreational cannabis products. The menu has new products from diverse and independent brands from the NJ market.
“We have some product exclusives for downtown JC,” Amanda said.
There are tinctures, topicals, edibles, concentrates, vaporizers, pre-rolls, and flower products specifically designed to help medical marijuana patients. Anyone registered with the New Jersey Medical Marijuana Program is welcome to stop by and purchase these products. downtown FLWR will need to see documentation to confirm customers are part of this program, so make sure to bring that.
There are tons of recreational cannabis products to choose from including flower, edibles, pre-rolls, vaporizers, and concentrates. The team can help answer any questions about the recreational cannabis products in-store.
downtown FLWR only sells high-quality, non-habit-forming products. The knowledgeable team loves to help customers, especially those new to the high-life, navigate the world of cannabis + find the right products for their needs.
“We want to wow people when they come in, and make it a really great experience,” Amanda said.
All About downtown FLWR
downtown FLWR is a women-owned dispensary founded by Amanda Handy, whose experience as a cancer survivor inspired her to bring medical marijuana to Chilltown.
“I started with medical marijuana to offer people a better quality of life,” she said. “I’ve been a part of the medical marijuana industry in New Jersey for several years.”
Amanda founded downtown FLWR with co-owners Benny Shabtai, an Army Veteran, and Stacey Shabtai, an advocate for women and children organizations. The trio is passionate about creating a safe space for community members to learn about alternative therapies for treating medical issues.
The downtown FLWR team is very active in the community + supports local nonprofit organizations including The Whole Spectrum Autism, The Hope House, and Miracle Temple Pentecostal Church.
Since its opening last year, downtown FLWR has quickly become a staple in the downtown Jersey City community. Recreational shopping hours are Sunday and Monday from 10AM-8PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10AM-9PM, Thursday from 10AM-10PM, and Friday and Saturday from 10AM-11PM. Medical hours are Monday to Wednesday from 8AM-9PM, Thursday from 8AM-10PM, Friday and Saturday from 8AM-11AM and Sunday from 9AM-8PM.
“Our team is amazing, well trained on our products, and have great customer service,” Amanda said. “We have a variety of products and are willing to bring in any product suggestions customers may have.”
