Since its inception in 1985, breast cancer awareness month {running from October 1-31st} has ignited conversations around this deadly disease, empowered women living with or having survived breast cancer, has encouraged millions to check in on their own health, and has honored the lives we have lost. According to Cancer.Net, over 40,000 women die of breast cancer each year with some of those deaths being preventable from early detection. For this reason, among others, we help to ‘paint the world pink’ during October and raise awareness always for this disease. Here in Hudson County, there are plenty of ways to show support through events, activities, and donations. We have rounded up several ways you can get involved. Many local businesses do their part every year to shine a light on breast cancer and donate proceeds to charities. Read on to discover local Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising events.

  • Roig Collection will be hosting a pop-up shop at Little Hoboken. 25% of all painting sales will be donated. Follow our social media for date and time!
  • Little Hoboken will have new camouflage women’s lightweight hoodies and unisex camouflage baseball hats with hot pink “201” on each and will donate 20% of the sales for each of these all month long to the team.

Little Hoboken will have a donation jar in store as well for those who want to make donations in person.
