Hudson County will honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11 through various ceremonies and community-focused events that will acknowledge the lost residents of their respective cities. Read on for a list of 9/11 events happening throughout Hudson County.
Hoboken 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The City of Hoboken invites the community to attend a service at the Hoboken 9/11 Memorial at Pier A. The ceremony will begin at 6:00PM.
In the Northwest area of the park, the memorial is aligned in the direction of the World Trade Center site and includes a glass panel for each of the 56 Hoboken residents lost on that day.
Jersey City 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Jersey City will host its ceremony at its 9/11 memorial at 8:30AM. The virtual ceremony will take place on Friday at 5PM on Hudson Media Group channels on Livestream.com, YouTube.com, and Facebook.com.
The American Red Cross’ annual Jersey City Police and Fire 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive will take place at held at the Canopy by Hilton on Friday 8AM – 6PM.

Bayonne 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Bayonne will host its ceremony at the Teardrop Memorial from 9AM to 12AM from Sept 10th-12th.
Guttenberg 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Guttenberg will host its ceremony at Town Hall at 10AM.
Memorial March Hosted by HEART 9/11
HEART 9/11, a non-profit comprised of the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD, and the NYC Building Trades, has organized a memorial march to remember those who passed and mark September 12. The 0.8-mile march will begin at 7:30AM at North Moore and Greenwich Street, proceeding south to Oculus Plaza. Learn more here.

North Bergen will host its ceremony at its 9/11 memorial at 12PM.
Secaucus 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Secaucus will host its ceremony at its 9/11 memorial at 8:30AM.
Union City 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Union City will host its ceremony at its 9/11 memorial at 9AM.
Weehawken 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Weehawken will host its ceremony at its 9/11 memorial at 8:30AM.
West New York 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
