Our 3rd Tea on the Hudson podcast episode has dropped — Tea on the Hudson, HobokenGirl.com’s official podcast! A new episode is released every Tuesday during a season.

Episode 3: Is Hoboken and Jersey City tap water safe to drink? {Part Two}

This episode we’re enjoying a very intense espresso sitch in Hoboken and sharing the latest Hudson County New Jersey news headlines. This week’s news includes a visit to the Jersey City Target by a very popular pop star named Taylor Swift, a new Hoboken coffee shop, and a vintage store getting evicted — plus tons more.

After that, our news contributor Steph is on for part two of our very important topic:

Is Hudson County water safe to drink — and, a surprising topic of interest — are water filters total BS?

We discuss how you can test your tap water, the numbers and lab to call, as well as the websites you’ll need to double-check on your own water supply if not in Hoboken and Jersey City. Steph shares some of her own researched water options and we discuss some ways to make your tap water even better.

Then for our self-care segment, our contributor Danielle comes on to chat with Jen about an energy healing session at Nurturing Life Acupuncture in Hoboken that she tried recently {plus her honest opinions about it — no holds barred}.

We wrap the episode segments up with a hidden gem to check out, our “awards” for Hudson Hero + Hudson Zero of the week {as you can imagine — someone doing something good and someone who is causing a bit of a stir — this week, some Instagram trolls}.

Last but definitely not least, sharing the non-profit that you should donate to this week: Dress for Success of Hudson County.

Please note: Part one of the water feature is in Episode 2 and is definitely worth a listen.
