We love Hoboken. We love Jersey City. We love Hudson County. And not just because we’re close to the city, have access to a million top notch restaurants and boutiques, and a sick view of the skyline, but because we love the true sense of community this area provides. And so we want to give back through #HobokenGirlHelps. This month, there are various important events in honor of some great causes. From making soap for those in need to lending a hand and supporting brain health to planning fundraisers, there’s plenty for you to get involved in this month that will really help make this community {and this world} an even better place.

Soap Making Workshop for the Homeless: June 6th

Give A Soap is an incredible non-profit organization that donates free soap to homeless shelters. The organization is hosting a workshop with Smart Soap + Candle Company to make soaps, and they’re inviting the community to join in on the DIY soap making action. At the end of each month, all soaps are donated to those in need. RSVP to the event here, and note that although this event is free to attend, there is a suggested donation of $20.
