We’ve been crushing on lots of things all week, but have somehow narrowed it down to the top 3 of the week. The Thursday 3 is back:

1. Pumpkin Pie Shots

Club Pilates 2023

JK Therapy

Made these bad boys for a Friendsgiving I hosted on Sunday… they were a hit!

Hobbs Inc

 Here’s the recipe {can be made into a martini or several shots}:

2 oz vanilla vodka
2 oz pumpkin pie liquor or cream liquor
1/4 cup heavy cream or half & half
1.5 tablespoons of pumpkin puree (pie mix)
1 dash of ground nutmeg (for garnish)
Powdered graham cracker (for the rim) + Whipped Cream

AXIS School of Dance

SOOOOO good. That is all.

2. Nail Art at Zeni Salon {on 14th Street}

Tried out a new salon after hearing good things — went to Juni, who loves to get funky with some nail art. While my “aztec-inspired” nails didn’t turn out exactly the way I wanted, it’s been fun having a little sparkly gel! These bad boys cost $50 {normal gel mani is $40}, so it’s not super expensive but you can definitely find less pricey places to do your gel mani {unless you want some nail art, then I’d say come here and ask for Juni!}. It’s really refreshing to have a nail salon whose workers don’t groan, grumble, or roll their eyes when you ask for nail art — which has happened from time to time, so I’ve heard/once in a while experienced. Where’s your favorite spot for nail art??

3. Bareburger comes to Hoboken

^^ That’s not just ANY burger… that’s an organic bison burger with duck bacon and pepper jack cheese from the relatively new restaurant Bareburger. They also have glutenfree, vegan, and vegetarian options {believe it or not!} too. I just love their mantra of sustainability, grass-fed, humanely treated animals in their mission. Located at 515 Washington Street. I discovered this a while ago but am just getting around to tellin’ ya. My B.

Well now that you’ve got a new place to get your nails done, eat a burger, and make some yummy fall-inspired shots— me thinks you’re ready for the weekend. Have a wonderful one! See you on the flip. xo
