Between closets, breakfast bars, and the early days of fumbling to share your screen, most of us are all too familiar with the reality of working from home. It has perks for sure (who doesn’t love a 1-minute commute?), but working and living in the same space gets old really fast. Enter: Daybase. Located at 1450 Washington Street in Hoboken, Daybase has expanded the definition of what it means to work from home – without actually sacrificing any space. Keep reading to learn about Daybase and the exclusive offer for Hoboken Girl readers.

The Inspiration for Daybase

In 2020, the pandemic created a new set of challenges as we all struggled to balance the blurring lines of professional and personal space. However, the pandemic also created an opportunity. In forcing us out of the office, it also upended habits and reset expectations. Some saw they could actually be more productive. Today, many hope that ‘hybrid work’ will be the new norm.

According to Daybase, 55% of workers in the United States want to work remotely at least 3 days a week, 74% of U.S. companies are switching to hybrid work models, and 83% of workers prefer hybrid work options nationwide. The Daybase team saw this shift away from traditional working routines and made the most of it.

A New Way to WFH in Hoboken

Daybase is intentionally designed for hybrid and remote workers providing local, flexible coworking spaces so you can spend more time finding your peak productivity and less time on the train.

From the common areas like the Daylounge, Zoom-ready meeting rooms, and larger collaboration spaces, Daybase has everything you need to make the workplace work for you. Workstations are available for as little as 2 credits/hour. Focus rooms are 10 credits/hour and meeting rooms are 20 credits/hour. Amenities include on-site concierge, enterprise-grade WiFi, complimentary coffee & tea, and unlimited office supplies.

“We want to help people get the most out of their workday, live where they want to live, and unlock the full potential of a new normal,” Daybase manager Tiara Cavallo told Hoboken Girl. “Whether you’re at home, on the road, or meeting up with remote co-workers – your experience should be consistent. We’re designing simple, comfortable, and easy-to-navigate spaces near where you want to live, not where you have to work.”

The location is open six days a week and reservations are not required, so you can drop in or book in advance – it’s your work day your way. You can easily see what spaces are available at a moment’s notice when you download the Daybase app or simply stop by in person. When you arrive, without the hassle of an inconvenient commute, the concierge will check you in and you can get down to business.

Daybase can be a frequent office or a place to escape. This means that our pricing won’t punish you for using Daybase in the way that’s best for you. We offer the most affordable coworking option in the area,” Tiana mentioned.
