Excel PT’s Roots in New Jersey

Matt Gibble, PT and Gary Flink, PT, MSPT co-founded Excel Physical Therapy with a vision to open a practice that would set the standard in orthopedic physical therapy care for everyone from children to professional athletes. In March 1990, the first Excel office opened in Fort Lee, NJ. Since then, they’ve added offices throughout Bergen, Hudson, Union, Warren, Morris, and Essex counties.

Today, Excel Physical Therapy is a trusted source for rehabilitation in New Jersey by both patients and referring physicians. Matt and Gary are both competitive Ironman triathletes, so they know first-hand what their patients are going through when injured or experiencing pain from sports or fitness-related injuries. The PTs at Excel have treated professional athletes, including players on the NJ Devils, NY Giants, and New Jersey Nets. {And you can check out some of their cool signed jerseys hung up in the Hoboken office.}
