About Sophie’s Nail Studio

This one is extra special — Hien “Sophie” Nguyen opened Sophie’s Nail Studio on Friday, September 9th with the goal of bringing a smile to each new client’s face, a feeling of safety, and excellent service in a pristine salon.
Sophie started doing nails when she came to the US from Vietnam. It was the family business, and her aunt and uncle helped her open her own salon in Florida. When she met her husband, Jersey City-based Trong, she decided to move to NJ and start over.
“There’s nothing a fresh manicure can’t fix. This salon is for me, I picked everything out — the colors, everything,” Sophie told Hoboken Girl. “Cleanliness is our priority, we want to guarantee not only our customers’ health but also the health and safety of our employees.”

Sophie oversees daily operations in the salon while her husband, Trong Nguyen, handles scheduling appointments so everything runs smoothly. While clients will see Sophie and Trong in the salon, most of the client’s time is spent with one of the friendly and expertly-trained nail technicians. Sophie’s Nail Studio is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30AM to 7:30PM and on Sundays from 11AM to 5:30PM.
“Our team continually strives to create a luxurious and pampering experience with each visit,” Sophie said. “We do this by helping the client escape the daily stresses of life and inviting them to enjoy a relaxing treatment.”

Beyond the classic pedicure service, Sophie’s Nail Studio also provides color gel, French gel, luxury scent pedicure, a relaxation pedicure, natural pedicure, skincare, and specialty spa pedicure.
“Our nail salon routinely follows a sanitary standard that sets us apart from other places. New buffers and files are used with each client and paraffin wax is never reused,” Sophie told Hoboken Girl. “We use disposable liners for all of our pedicure procedures to add an additional element of sanitation and protection. Above all, the staff is trained to follow the proper sanitization protocol to prioritize the client’s hygiene.”
