MDW at Pier 13 | 1301 Sinatra Drive North, Hoboken

Pier 13 is officially open for the summer with live music, local food trucks, and beautiful waterfront views, but has also announced a music + DJ set lineup for Memorial Day Weekend. For more information, visit here.
Jersey City Bar Crawl | 116 Newark Avenue, Jersey City

Jersey City Bar Crawl is a weekly downtown event, but it will be active to kick off MDW as well. Participants will have the opportunity to visit multiple Jersey City bars with exclusive drink specials and no cover fees included.

Reggaeton on the Roof | 145 Newark Avenue, Jersey City

To kick off Memorial Day Weekend, The Ashford is hosting a free rooftop party with the theme “Reggaeton on the Roof”, including a live DJ set, dancing, and food + drink specials.
MDW Takeover at Birch | 92 River Street, Hoboken

Birch Hoboken will be hosting a “MDW Takeover” event with reggaeton music and a Bad Bunny-themed setlist.
Memorial Day Weekend Bollywood Night | 310 Sinatra Drive, Hoboken

The Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse helps open access to free community kayaking every year, and it will be available to the public starting this MDW on Saturday, May 23rd.
Hoboken Farmers’ Market | Under the 14th Street Viaduct, Hoboken

The Hoboken Farmers’ Market is a great visit for those looking to engage with the community. Visitors can purchase local produce, meals, and treats while enjoying live music performances. (FYI: It’s hosted every Saturday, too)

Jersey City Record Riot is a free event on the Grove Street PATH Plaza that features music, vendors, and opportunities to purchase vinyl + CDs.
AAPI Month Celebration Book Swap | 424 West Side Avenue, Jersey City

Hosted at Cosy Cup Library in Jersey City, this event gives participants the opportunity to swap up to five books by Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander authors in celebration of AAPI Month.

This 7-mile walk through Liberty State Park is a good way to enjoy the fresh air during MDW. Walkers will meet at the central railroad of NJ Terminal at 8:00 AM.
Move ‘N’ Groove for Memorial Day Weekend | J. Owen Grundy Park, Hudson Street, Jersey City

Move ‘n’ Groove is an annual event showcasing house music. It will return this MDW at J. Owen Grundy Park in Jersey City, by the waterfront.
Live Irish Music at The Hutton | 225 Hutton Street, Jersey City

Jazz Jam Session | 189 Monticello Avenue, Jersey City

At Moore’s Place in Jersey City, a “Jazz Jam Session” will be held with the help of drummer Winard Harper. Open jams are hosted every Friday + Sunday.
