Before By Landmark became what it is today, Jeanne and Frank first opened their combination flagship venue, Liberty House and Liberty House Restaurant, in 2001. As the business continued to grow, Jeanne and Frank’s daughter, Maddy Rose, joined the By Landmark team in 2015, bringing a fresh perspective on growth, experiences, relationships, and celebrations. Last summer, as an ode to their daughter, Jeanne and Frank decided to reimagine and rename the Liberty House Restaurant space after Maddy Rose, with a fresh new interior, private dining spaces, gardens, cabanas, and a completely new menu of food and cocktails. This season, the team is excited to welcome guests to the updated space with a modern take on the classics locals have grown to love over the years.
On The Menu
At Maddy Rose, bold flavors and waterfront views help to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience along the Hudson River. The Jersey City restaurant is known for its carefully seared steaks, fresh seafood, and signature craft cocktails. From seafood towers and tuna tartare tacos to steaks and lobster, Maddy Rose’s menu is full of decadent dishes for special occasions.
No matter the occasion or time of day, there’s always a reason for celebration at Maddy Rose. The restaurant is open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM-3PM and lunch Wednesday through Friday from 12PM-3PM. Dinner service runs from 5PM -10PM on Fridays, 5PM-11PM on Saturdays, and Sundays from 5PM-9PM. Maddy Rose hosts private and semi-private dining experiences, special events, and weddings.
