“Are the Jonas Brothers in Hudson County right now?” was the question on everyone’s mind on April 28th. Several readers reached out to us that afternoon, asking if the Jo Bros are having a day in our area after several Instagram posts revealed what looked to be the NYC skyline and a few local spots. Now we know that the Jonas Brothers were in their home state for the shooting of their album, “Greetings From Your Hometown.” Here are our findings:
The @jonasbrothers Instagram account posted a video of the Wyckoff-born-and-raised brothers in front of the NYC skyline on Monday, April 28th, with an eyes emoji. It appeared to be Hoboken or Jersey City, but could have also been the Fort Lee/Edgewater area or Brooklyn.

The IG story was followed by another video of Nick, Joe, and Kevin at a local bar as well as a local restaurant with red and white checkered tablecloths. No spot in Hoboken has red tablecloths besides Johnny Pepperoni, but the walls don’t match. It could also be Belmont Tavern in Belleville, but still, it is unconfirmed as to where the spots are.
Also on Nick and Joe’s IG stories that day were photos of what appeared to be a Nutley Rita’s, per Google street view (hi, @themontclairgirl).
As per an Instagram post made by the Jonas brothers on May 1st, now we know that this was in fact the Rita’s in Nutley. According to the caption, the reason why they were traveling around the Northern New Jersey area was for an album shoot for”Greetings From Your Hometown,” set to be released on August 5th, 2025.
