Hoboken Girl’s 2019 Wellness Business of the Year, has put its focus on women’s health services. “While we continue to care for all sorts of pain and rehabilitation conditions, we have taken a special interest in women’s health. For that reason, we have added Dr. Christine Palma, an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility issues. We have also added Dr. Suzanne Fuchs, a physical therapist with a specialty in pelvic floor issues. There is a synergistic aspect to the two specialties as they commonly co-treat many of the same issues such as Endometriosis,” Dr. John Rotundo, Founder & Director of Physician Services told Hoboken Girl.

AXIS School of Dance

After graduating from New York Medical College, Suzanne began working in an outpatient clinic in Hackensack, NJ focusing on orthopedic, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. It was during this time that Suzanne realized the importance of the pelvic floor when treating patients, and she discovered her passion for women’s health. She received her pelvic floor certification from Herman and Wallace and launched a pelvic floor treatment program at the orthopedic practice.

Suzanne uses her well-rounded background in orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy to treat each patient with an individualized, multi-dimensional treatment program. Her treatments include manual skills, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and biofeedback to help them reach their therapy goals.

“I highly recommend Dr. Suzanne Fuchs-Coffey from this practice for her Pelvic Floor PT services. I
worked with her prenatally and postnatally. She always makes me very much at ease, is very gentle and
her exercises are simple and effective very quickly. I highly recommend going to talk to her if you consider
working with a PT.” – said a patient.
