One of our Hoboken wellness favorites — Hudson Family Chiropractic Physical Therapy & Acupuncture — just announced it is opening a second location in uptown Hoboken. Started over 20 years ago in the Mile Square, Hudson Family Chiropractic, a creation of Hoboken local Dr. John Rotundo, has been in downtown Hoboken serving local residents with physical therapy, chiropractic care, and acupuncture year after year.

Just this year after celebrating over 20 years in business, Dr. John has decided to expand his pain relief and rehab services to a place that’s easily accessible for uptown residents and those in nearby cities like Weehawken and Union City. The practice is opening a new location in uptown Hoboken, at 1317 Willow Avenue across from Trader Joe’s, and services the community as a leading provider for chiropractic and physical therapy in Hudson County. Keep reading to learn more about the new location and the exclusive offer for a free visit to Hoboken Girl readers.

The New Location Adds Convenience in Uptown Hoboken

Hudson Family Chiropractic is expanding to a second location in Hoboken to better serve its expanding practice and its patients’ needs. The new location at 1317 Willow Avenue will feature chiropractic services and eventually add acupuncture, flexology, orthopedic physical therapy, and pelvic floor physical therapy.

“I know uptown people prefer to take care of business locally, so we’ve decided to expand Hoboken Girl’s Best Wellness Business (2019 and 2020) making our services easily accessible to the entire city,” Dr. John Rotundo told Hoboken Girl. Hudson Family won our “Best of” guide two years in a row.

Hudson Family Chiropractic has grown significantly over the past 22 years. Dr. Rotundo attributes that to the individualized care the practice offers each patient, focusing on pain relief and long-term results.

The best part of running this business is helping people who are in pain or discomfort get back to life,” Dr. Rotundo told Hoboken Girl. “Our team of doctors are highly educated and dedicated to their patients, making the level of care exemplary and unsurpassed in the area.”

“It is as important for us to get a patient better as it is to work with them to figure out the necessary changes needed in their daily lives to ensure they stay feeling that way. And these changes are not the same in every situation. That is why we provide individual and personalized care for each patient” states Dr. Gazaleh.

Meet Dr. Michael Gazaleh

Dr. Michael Gazaleh graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 2000. With a strong understanding of the muscular system in active athletes, he opened his own practice in Manhattan in 2004. While enjoying practicing chiropractic, Michael continues to be very active himself. In June 2005 he started City Running Tours, which offers guided running tours of some of the great cities in the United States. Dr. Gazaleh joined Hudson Family Chiropractic in early 2008.

Meet Dr. William Magill

Dr. William Magill uses evidence-based treatment techniques and has a passion for helping people live an active, pain-free lifestyle. He keeps up to date with the latest research and has taken multiple post-graduate training courses. After growing up playing a variety of sports, he went on to play football at the collegiate level which provided him with valuable experience in the training and rehabilitation of athletes. This experience allowed him to learn the most effective rehabilitation protocols to help fellow athletes get back in the game quickly, and safely.

How It All Started

Prior to opening Hudson Family Chiropractic and Physical Therapy in 2000, Dr. Rotundo had five years of experience in a multidisciplinary office where he worked in unison with medical doctors on a daily basis.

“There is often a muscular component to pain, in addition to the restriction of a joint. For that reason, we address both components of dysfunction using a combination of modalities, manipulation, and muscle work and stretching,” Dr. Rotundo told Hoboken Girl. “Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints including back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.”

Other common conditions include: arm pain, arthritis, disc problems, fibromyalgia, headaches, hip pain, muscle spasms, pregnancy aches, sports injuries, and scoliosis.

The practice uses the latest technology, equipment, and treatment therapies to treat patients. Dr. Rotundo, Dr. Gazaleh, and Dr. Magill offer conservative and gentle care, soft tissue therapy, other modalities, and exercise. Chiropractic adjustments are a safe, natural, and effective tool to help keep one of the most important pieces of the body in its best possible condition.

“During your visit, our chiropractors will take the time to properly examine you and determine the root causes of your injury or disease,” Dr. Rotundo added. “By utilizing our years of experience, you will be diagnosed and a comprehensive treatment plan will be implemented.”
