This weekend, there are a variety of exciting events taking place, including theater shows, farmers’ markets, and Halloween festivities. Below is the list of (over 140!) Introduction to Judaism at Temple Beth-El
Temple Beth-El 2419 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City
Wednesday — November 5th at 7:30PM
This 20-week class will focus on the “hows” and “whys” of Judaism and cover highlights, core concepts, master stories, key figures, + the building blocks of Judaism. It is open to all, and designed for individuals + couples from Jewish and various faith traditions and cultural backgrounds as well as those who have had no religious upbringing. The class’ cost is subsidized by a generous grant from the National Center to Encourage Judaism.
The Far Hills Race Meeting “The Hunt” at Moorland Farm

Saturday — October 18th (gates open at 8AM)
The Far Hills Race Meeting returns to Moorland Farm for New Jersey’s premier fall tradition. Enjoy steeplechase races, tailgating, food trucks, vendors, and more — all while supporting local healthcare (over $22M donated to date). Gates open at 8AM.
The Wine Lab at City Bistro
City Bistro 56 14th Street, Hoboken
Sunday — October 12th at 1PM-2PM
The Wine Lab is a hands-on, sommelier-led experience where you become the winemaker for a day. The Hoboken Public Library provides crucial services and programs to meet the evolving educational, social, cultural, technological, and informational needs of the community. Providing access to the arts is an integral part of Mile Square Theatre’s mission. As a 501c3 non-profit, the theater relies on donations from generous people to keep ticket prices and class tuition accessible for all. A donation goes toward keeping the arts alive in the community.
