Initially we were bummed to hear that the annual Macy’s Fireworks were once again not on the Hudson, but then we remembered how fabulous the fireworks were last year in Jersey City. Celebrate the Fourth of July at Liberty State Park in Jersey City for the 2nd Annual Freedom & Firework Festival. This year the festival will benefit Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen soldiers. There will be carnival rides, food, live music and {of course} fireworks.

Other Local Fireworks Displays: Fort Lee, Englewood, Palisades Park, Secaucus, Hackensack, and Clifton. Click here for a full list.
