About Dolce & Salato
The owners of Dolce & Salato, Maurizio Dolce, Michael Nirchio, and Brian Mazzei, have always remained close to their Italian heritage and are now sharing this with the residents of Hoboken.
The idea of Dolce & Salato originated in 2012 when a new Italian cafe, Palazzone 1960, opened in Wayne, New Jersey. Knowing what constitutes as quality Italian food, Maurizio, Michael, and Brian fell in love with what Giancarlo, the owner of Palazzone 1960, was serving and they started to think, “this type of cafe would be perfect in Hoboken.”
Dolce & Salato is open for breakfast and lunch and sells products directly from Italy for customers to take home and enjoy with their families. Their items include imported pasta, sauces, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and more.
