Glamming the Warrior Heroes for Healing Gala Details
The 3rd annual Glamming the Warrior Heroes for Healing Gala is a black-tie event that will take place on February 9th from 7:30PM-11:30PM at Hudson House, located at 2 Chapel Avenue in Jersey City.
Studies have indicated that cancer patients facing depression tend to have higher mortality rates. Therefore, Glamming the Warrior is dedicated to reducing these risks by fostering a sense of community, creating joyful experiences, and empowering cancer patients.
The gala is a culmination of Glamming the Warrior’s efforts throughout the previous year. This is a night to celebrate the cancer patient honorees who were nominated in 2023 by friends, loved ones, and acquaintances who recognized the nominee’s resilience in their cancer battle.
The gala is a special event for the nominees + their guests to connect, celebrate, and build lasting memories. It is a night of glamor, joy, and recognition for the warriors who continue to inspire others as they face their cancer batter with strength and determination. Attendees will hear uplifting and empowering speeches from fellow warriors and professionals in the industry.

General admission tickets are currently available on the website. Ticket sales support the mission of Glamming the Warrior nonprofit organization + includes full access to the event, dinner, and entertainment.
All About Glamming the Warrior
Glamming the Warrior is a local nonprofit that supports cancer patients by “re-instilling confidence from the outside in.” Rochelle-R. E. Magno, owner of The Lash Gallery, started Glamming the Warrior in 2021. The nonprofit organization collaborates with other local businesses in Jersey City + Hoboken to give local warriors a transformative wellness makeover day.

This wellness makeover includes nail services, makeup, massages, facials, wardrobe styling, acupuncture, hair replacement wigs, B12 shots, and mental + physical health coaching. The entire process is captured by a professional photographer and videographer, aiding warriors in rebuilding their self-confidence and enhancing their quality of life. Additionally, a professional event planner orchestrates the final experience — a gala to celebrate the honorees — ensuring a memorable and empowering culmination.
Jersey City supports Glamming the Warrior and will be raising a special flag at City Hall on February 8th — and the year’s efforts culminate with the gala on February 9th.
